Syrah was handpicked in March, the fruit destemmed and fermented in roto then pressed to tank to finish primary fermentation. A portion (20%) was kept in stainless tank to retain fruitiness whilst the residual 80% was matured in oak with 10% new.
Deep vibrant Purple tones flow into a luscious bouquet full of boysenberry, black pepper & liquorice. The wine is medium plus bodied with a palate showing ripe black, plum fruits tamed by black pepper spices balanced on a long rich palate full of complexity.
